Our Services
The needs of every filmmaker are different; we are here to meet all those needs. To understand the needs of filmmakers, we need to delve into the requirements from various aspects. At this stage, we will engage in extensive Q&A between the client and us so that we can detail all the needs and provide an accurate and efficient offer.
If needed, we will also conduct various research on the filmmaking activities to be carried out so that the client does not need to spend a long time at the target location, as we have already conducted pre-research.
To conduct filming activities in Indonesia, it is first necessary to obtain a film permit from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. This permit can only be obtained by registered official fixers, one of which is Eizou Consulting. The film permit is also essential for applying for a journalist visa, allowing foreign crew members to enter Indonesia.
Additionally, depending on the filming location, further location permits may be required. For instance, filming in national parks necessitates a permit from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), while filming at tourist attractions requires permission from the respective site managers. Eizou Consulting can assist in securing all necessary permits.
All foreign nationals, whether for vacation or work, require a visa. To conduct filming activities in Indonesia, a journalist visa from the Immigration Office of the Republic of Indonesia is needed. The visa application process takes approximately two to three weeks and requires various documents, including a filming permit issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.
The visa will be issued in PDF format and must be presented by the foreign crew upon entry to Indonesia at immigration. Ensure that all submitted documents are accurate to avoid delays in processing the visa.
Eizou Consulting can find the necessary talents for foreign filmmakers, such as drone operators, local cameramen, and talents tailored to the production needs.
Especially for filming with drones, it must be carried out by local drone operators due to the necessary permits and the fact that Indonesia does not allow foreign drone operators to fly drones within its territory, as it involves security responsibilities.
When filming in Indonesia, foreign filmmakers may need to shoot in various locations, requiring transportation such as planes and cars, accommodation, meals during the shoot, and other necessities.
Eizou Consulting can arrange all the needs during filming activities in Indonesia, from booking flights, and chartering cars, to booking hotels, restaurant reservations, and more. We will provide the best offers and coordinate schedules to ensure the journey is completed in the shortest time possible and at the best price.
Once all preparations are complete and the journalist visa has been issued, Eizou Consulting will accompany the foreign film crew during their filming activities in Indonesia.
This is done to take responsibility for everything that happens during the filming activities, ensure proper coordination, and act as a liaison for communication between the foreign film crew and all local staff involved in the filming process.
Eizou Consulting offers document translation services from Indonesian to Japanese and from Japanese to Indonesian. We can translate various types of documents, including film scripts, research results, and other documents.
Additionally, Eizou Consulting can also transcribe videos. For instance, interviews conducted during filming can be transcribed into Word documents and, if needed, translated into Japanese.
